How to Lose The Fat Before Summer

Summer fat loss is one of the most desired goals and it’s easy to understand. Most people are likely to gain some weight over the colder seasons. Summer is right around the corner, but there is still time for fat loss
Just remember the big 3. Diet, weight training and cardio.
tip: I put diet first for a reason
Diet is the key component to weight loss, next comes cardio and no fat loss routine is complete without weight training. After all, losing 10lbs is nice, but if you have no muscle to show off under that layer of fat you’re going to be disappointing when beach season rolls around.
You already know you should do your cardio first thing in the morning or immediately following your weight training session, but I’ve got another fat loss tip for you.
Eliminate Liquid Calories!
When it gets hot outside nobody enjoys a lemonade, slurpee, kool aid (pretty much any cold drink) more than me, but these soft drinks are the easiest way of NOT achieving your fat loss goal. I know it may sound harsh (especially if you like Arnold Palmer’s as much as I do) but in order to lose the fat you’re going to want to drink nothing but water.
Check this out. . .
If you drink 1 bottle of soda per day on average, that’s about 250 calories and needless to say most soda drinkers have more than 1 bottle/can per day.
250 calories x 7 days = 1,750 calories!
1lb of fat is equal to 3,500 calories. Just eliminating soda, juice, etc from your diet could mean an additional lb of fat every 2 weeks that you keep off your waistline.
By the way, today I had my last Arizona Ice Tea Arnold Palmer. Time to take my own advice and stick to water while I’m in a fat loss phase.
Whose with me?
Why It’s Called Fast Food

Probably because it’s the quickest way to get fat.
We all have friends who can eat McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, basically whatever they want and never gain a pound, lucky them!
Realistically, the majority of us aren’t as lucky as our “eat whatever they want” friend. And fast food is a major problem for the majority of us who cannot eat whatever we want. Think about it, one fast food binge can dramatically hinder your fat loss goals.
While it may seem a bit drastic, I’ve found that completley eliminating fast food from your diet will be easier than trying to keep your cravings under control. Pack a lunch as often as possible, and keep stocked up on plenty of healthy foods when you go to the grocery store.
Even the “healthy” choices on the fast food menus can keep you from achieving fat loss. Do a simple search on google for the nutritional information of a mcdonalds salad or some other “healthy” fast food. You’ll quickly realize why you should completley exclude these from your diet rather than try to keep them under control

I don’t want to pound it into your head again and again how important diet is. . . While diet is extremely important to achieving those abs you want, it’s not the most exciting topic. . So, for the sake of keeping you guys’ and girl’s from falling asleep, I’m going to assume that you already know HOW IMPORTANT DIET IS! and I’ll give you what you really want. . and that is a list of really great ab exercises guaranteed build abdominal muscles. .
Cable Crunches – This is one of my favorite ab exercises. After the first set your abs will be burning up! and it beats the heck out of doing countless “standard crunches”. .

Cross-Body Crunch – A very easy way to add a TWIST to your basic crunches. Increases the effectiveness of the crunch and produces better results.

Decline Crunch – Another great crunch variation that will produce better ab results than your typical crunches. . After you’ve mastered this one, try having a partner toss you a medicine ball while you perform these. .

Lying Leg Raises – The bottom abs are said to be the hardest to reveal, so these next two exercises are designed to target your lower abdominal muscles and get them to finally come out from hiding.

Hanging Leg Raises – Another awesome way to get your body abs to pop out.
